Welcome
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2027 Young Scientists Symposium on Emerging Functional Materials and Applications (EFMA2027), hosted by the School of Chemical Engineering at The University of Queensland.
The symposium is a stage for young scientists — Honours, Masters and PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and early-career academics — to present their work, meet leading researchers and build lasting collaborations. The theme for 2027 is optoelectronics and electronics, from perovskite and organic semiconductors to 2D materials, sensing and AI for materials science.
Join us in Brisbane from 10 to 12 February 2027 for a welcome reception followed by two days of plenary, keynote and contributed talks and a poster session.
